2002 Buick Century
The 2002 Buick Century is a traditional American sedan, a practical and comfortable
car with smooth ride, good performance and predictable handling. It features soft
ride quality and strong and economy V6 engine with quick and solid response. The
3.1-liter V6 rated engine with its overhead valves and sequential-port fuel injection
delivers 175 horsepower at 5200 rpm and a torque of 195 pound per feet at 4000
rpm. Some changes for the 2002 model year include the console for touring models,
chills seat attachments and additional color choices such as Dark Bronze Mist.

Century's power is electronically controlled by a four-speed automatic transmission,
giving it a smooth shift. Electronic traction control is also available in order
to reduce wheel spin for better control on slippery surfaces which come as standard.
Also standard is the Antilock brake system for maintaining steering control in
panic-braking situation. It also offers the MacPherson strut design front suspension
and the multi-link independent coil-over strut rear suspension.
