2003 Buick Century
Buick Century is one of the vehicles that joined the competition in its category
along with Honda Accord, Chevrolet impala, Dodge Intrepid, Ford Taurus, Pontiac
Grand Prix and Toyota Camry. The 2003 Buick Century shares its basic design with
the Regal, targeting the younger American buying public with a traditional sedan
look.
It features the 3.1-liter overhead valve V6 engine that provides enough power,
generating 175 horsepower at 5200 rpm and a torque of 195 pound per feet at 4000
rpm. The 4-speed automatic transmission makes a fuel economy of 20/29 mpg at city/highway
drives. 2003 Buick Century has standard add-on dual-front airbags, daytime running
lights, theft deterrent system and emergency interior trunk release that boasts
its safety features. You can also find optional antilock brakes, ABS traction
control and tire-pressure monitor. It has air conditioning with dual zone manual
climate control and interior air filter for better interior environment quality
and cloth upholstery for enhanced comfort.
There is also available custom package, which include the six-way power driver
seat, stereo upgrade, new interior cloth, woodgrain switch plate covers, floors
mats cornering lights and 205/70R15 tires. To improve head-impact protection there
is an added interior trim padding. Century comes in Cardinal Red Metallic and
Augusta Green Metallic.
